::Another enrichment activity from our "grammar with peter" days! This particular project actually ends up taking more time to fold, cut, and write out then it does to match them in seconds flat, but that's the part that makes it an activity! And that's the part that Peter loves.

These are our linking verbs. Our visual linking verbs. Peter and I have been chanting our linking verbs.
Am(clap) Is(clap) Are, was, were(clap) Be(clap) Being(clap) Been(clap,clap)
As is a link, we connected our nouns or pronouns with adjectives using our linking verbs. And even though we can't tear these off to count down to some grand event, it is a grand event to understand what part of speech accomplishes a pretty important task.
