Let's start something new. Shall we? I have never, ever lived in a home that is this finished. Truth be told, I miss the construction and creativity that goes along with renovations. What's a girl to do then...well this girl is going to reminisce. We all love before and afters. And I would love to compile the picks of all the years work that we currently get to embody in our everyday motions.

:: After the hardwoods were installed our "before shots" all took on a face-lift even as we moved in. The wallpaper however, was a nightmare! No primer. Let me say that again. No primer! Needless to say, we skim coated many, many, portions of drywall before this lovely shade of Silver Sage was painted to renew a whole new atmosphere of everyday calm. Ahhhhh.
We love this room. It's the heart of our home. We truly live in our living room. With its fresh white molding, new fireplace slate surround, and substantial ceiling beams it is just about perfect for us. It's cozy in the winter and beach-like in the summer. Happiness dwells in it's wall now instead of 1980's floral. And that's a very good thing!
