Even with all that cuteness standing there, the bathroom is an eyesore. Let's pause and consider the state of affairs in this particular square footage. The shell scalloped sink in a faux marble formica is absolutely stunning. The mauve wallpaper from floor to ceiling perfectly compliments the touch of light blue in the curtains and following through to the tile in the tub surround. But just in case we might leave well enough alone, take note of the carpet. Carpet? Three boys, a toliet, and grey carpet is a state of injustice for any mother. It all had to go.
Oh Hallelujah! At least we can let the sunshine in and the plywood floors bare washable rugs. We lived at this stage of the game far, far too long however.
There's that beautiful blue tile. Actually, I can work with this. See the nice grout lines that are mold free! Yes, I can definitely work with this. But we still need a little demo. The boys were very abliging at this stage. Oh yeah, this is fun!
